Little Dante’s first trip to the pumpkin picking patch Critz Farms in Cazenovia, NY! What a cute little guy, very photogenic! Dante is the son of one of my oldest friends, and with his first birthday around the corner, we decided to get together to get some nice photos of him.
When it’s the fall in Upstate New York, what do you do? Go pumpkin picking! We are very lucky to have a plethora of apple and pumpkin picking farms in our area. Critz Farms is located in Cazenovia, New York just a short scenic drive down Route 31. Critz Farms is open not only for pumpkin picking but you can also pick your own apples, blueberries, and even cut your own Christmas tree! They also have an adorable gift shop, hard cider & wine tasting room, and Critz Cafe for snacks and warm cider to keep you nice and toasty during your visit.
I love the colors of fall. Something about the changing leaves, red apples, orange pumpkins, sweaters, jeans and scarves, and everything else that goes into this time of year just create a warmth that translates so well into photographs – of families or children. It was so fun to get to capture the sweet spirit of this little cutie, and document his first trip to Critz Farms for pumpkin picking.
