Very Hungry Caterpillar Birthday

I am an Aunt to five boys and one girl ranging from age 7 to 12 months.  Celebrating their birthdays never loses its luster, I always look forward to it.  This past weekend was my youngest nephew Spencer’s 1st Birthday and I was particularly excited for this party because I was able to be a part of some of the planning via cell phone and email with my sister.  I designed The Very Hungry Caterpillar birthday themed invitations, and later a banner to match.  The theme was carried throughout the outdoor party from the hanging lantern caterpillar, to the absolutely beautiful (and delicious I might add) cake.  It was a beautiful sunny New Jersey day and I took full advantage of the many photo opps that presented themselves to me.  I look forward to more birthdays, and more photos taken to remember those precious moments… they grow up so fast!
