Aug, 12, 2013 | Blog ,Check It Out! ,Product Reviews |  Katie Stephens Many of us do our best to make healthy choices. The magazines, day-time television shows and reality shows are constantly reminding us to be conscious of our health. The one tip that I have seen in every article about the top weight-loss/healthy living tips is to drink more water. I don’t know about you, but sometimes the idea of drinking flavorless water isn’t too appetizing you know? Like after a garlic-tastic dinner, a cup of coffee that leaves your mouth wishing you had a piece of gum, or even during a workout on a really hot day, sometimes our water just needs something more! So I thought I’d give Dasani Drops a try. I had heard about a couple other brands of flavor concentrate for water but I trusted Dasani because they are already in the beverage business, and sell the bottled water to go with the flavor drops, so they must know what they’re doing. Thanks to Influenster I tried the Strawberry Kiwi and Grape flavors. The Strawberry Kiwi was my favorite, and I can’t wait to try some of the other flavors like Pink Lemonade and Pineapple Coconut — yum! The great thing about drink drops is that you can have a drink that suits your tastebuds, add as much or as little as you like! I even got the seal of approval from my fiance, “this is pretty good!” he said. The flavor is not too sweet, not artificial tasting, and helps add a little sass to your normal everyday water. I admittedly have a rough time getting the recommended daily amount of H2O and Dasani drops really helps, and makes me feel better that I’m staying hydrated while still getting the little sweet, fruitiness that I crave. I’ve been trying to think of interesting ways to use Dasani drops, other than in water. Maybe used in alcoholic beverages instead of the sugary calorie heavy drink mixes from the store. Maybe in a smoothie, or homemade sherbet or ice desserts?! What ideas can you think of?
