I have been doing a lot of “fall cleaning” recently by organizing my kitchen cabinets, finding new storage solutions for my beauty products, sorting through my congested closet, and making our laundry room more usable for us. It’s a constant battle searching for products that actually work, let alone make your life any easier or bring you joy! Here are a few of the must have products that I have been loving lately. Oval Chalkboard Labels These labels are great! I already had these awesome glass spice jars from Crate&Barrel and was changing them from bring stored in my cupboard, to being stored in a drawer, which required a new labeling system! These are the perfect size, they are good quality, and work great with a chalkboard paint pen for easy legibility that can be changed as needed. I also recently used some Martha Stewart Chalkboard Labels to help organize my pantry with Dollar Tree white plastic bins. Chalkboard labels and signs are must have products and a great solution for organization because they create contrast that’s easy to read, and are reusable when the old chalk paint is wiped away! Target Dollar Spot Travel Mugs The Dollar Spot at Targets always a great place to find deals! I recently bought one of these ceramic tumblers for $5 I think, and I loved it so much, I went back and bought another! They come in great colors and patterns, with a comfortable rubber grip, and rubber top that does take a little getting used to. You can’t buy from the Target Dollar Spot online, but sometimes you can find those items from other places online like Etsy sellers! Or you can just stop by your local Target and see what kind of treasures they have today. Here’s one Etsy shop selling a few right now. Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge I. Love. These. Things! As many of you may know, the makeup sponge marketplace has exploded with products trying to emulate or duplicate the unique texture and softness of the original Beauty Blender. As much as I love the OG-BB, they can be pretty pricey for something that gets pretty nasty looking. After trying a few budget friendly options I have to say that the Real Techniques sponge is hands down my favorite. You simply run the sponge under your faucet, squeezing it to help it saturate, then squeeze the excess water out, leaving you with a much larger, softer sponge that helps to flawlessly apply and blend out your foundation, concealer, or other cream products. (Some even use it for powders!) The unique shape of the Real Techniques sponge is part of what I love also, it has the pointed end to help get into small spaces and blend out the undereye area beautifully. Instead of the other, larger end being rounded this one is cut on an angle, leaving a flat surface which works great at blending, and definitely takes up a little more surface area that the rounded end of the Beauty Blender, in my opinion. Get this must have product from tons of stores like Ulta, Target, Wal-Mart & Amazon. Faux-Leather Open Front Jacket I don’t know about you, but I have been dying over the open front or flyaway style leather jackets for quite some time now! Most of them are cost a pretty penny, and I have been on the search for something a little more affordable. I found this Women’s MO-KA Faux-Leather Open-Front Jacket from Kohl’s and was able to use a coupon to get a great deal on it! This jacket features knit panels in the arms which allow it to stretch depending on the amount of layers you have on – unlike standard leather jackets. This is such a fun look for Fall, and looks great with a scarf! Here’s one I also got from Kohl’s that I am loving right now. HASK® Monoi Coconut Oil Nourishing Shampoo & Conditioner I have to say I am kind of obsessed with these shampoo and conditioners from HASK®. After stumbling upon them in the hair care aisle in Target one day, I was intrigued and decided to give them a shot. For whatever reason this combination works WONDERS with on my hair! I have naturally curly and somewhat dry hair that I always let air dry, and sometimes ends up frizzy and unruly. These two, along with another favorite Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie, leave my hair soft and with much more defined and silky curls – it’s a miracle! Well, there you have it! There are 5 of my recent favorite must have products, from the fall months so far. Check out my Pinterest account for hundreds of other favorites and must-tries on my list.
